Well today we are preparing to travel to Saskatoon once again for another cycle of treatment for Zach at Royal University Hospital. Tomorrow will begin round (6) of his P6 protocol with hydration followed by five days of a very strong and toxic chemotherapy. The Nurses on the cancer ward are the most caring and kind people, and treat our Zach as if he was their Son or Brother! Our family is truly blessed to know that when we arrive we are treated as part of a big family, and Zach receives the best of care 24/7. There will be extra prayers again this week, and thank you all for lifting Zach and his family up with your words of support and your kindness. God Bless you all..................
Hello everyone my name is Jim Cook, and I am Zach's Dad. The whole purpose behind this blog is to be able to reach out to families that are going through treatment for this rare cancer, and actually all cancers! Our family would be honored to hear all your stories and follow along as your loved ones seeks treatment. We will be sharing our Son Zach's journey as we as a family move forward in our search for the best treatment and CURE for our Zach!
