Of course we want to know if all our praying, all of the positive loving kind words and thoughts have made a difference, but I guess I am still so cynical because of the work I used to do. This is my Son, and the Dr. will be talking about Zach, not anyone else. Then there it is, the news Zach and our family has prayed so desperately for, the P6 protocol and Zach's strong young powerful mind and body has done their job! There is very little activity registered in what is left of the tumor in his abdomen! There is no sign of Cancer anywhere in his body! There is no sign of Cancer anywhere in his body, I had to write this twice! As I sit here writing on his page, as he has wanted me to from the beginning, it still won't sink in as I have not yet seen the results in written form in front of me, tears come easier now, not of fear and disbelief, but from happiness, love and faith!
Now the next stage of our concern will be directed to Texas, when will we go, when will Zach have his surgery to remove what is left within him, and will we all as a family experience Christmas together in Canada! Its easy for me these days to find a sense of joy, only to have something inside me try and push it away to worry about other possibilities, but I know that's just me, this time there is reason for real celebration. There is still a very long ways to go before we can stand on every street corner and shout out that our Zach is "cancer free" but we are heading that way, and the feeling of victory is real, praying will continue everyday, hopeful positive thoughts always! Thank you our family, our friends, and special strangers for walking with us, YOU have all made a huge difference in our lives, in giving our Zach the support and love he needs to encourage him to fight always, to never surrender, and to have faith in God above. Zach knowing everyday he was not alone, not ever alone, gave him hope, he will carry this human spirit with him to share with others that are going through the fear of this disease, God Bless you all, please stay with us, we need you!
